We had the privilege of having an amazing event at Pen-Y-Bont, all thanks to the thoughtfulness and kindness of Gareth Winmill. Gareth was incredible with running the London Marathon, and with the money he raised, he wanted to do something special in the memory of his Grandparents. His Grandmother Shirley was one of our dear residents at Pen-Y-Bont, and with the money raised, he donated it to us to host our Penguin party. This was all in memory of his beloved Grandparents, to share joy and community at a home so close to their hearts. We cannot thank Gareth enough for his kindness, and for such an amazing opportunity for our Residents to experience. We are beyond touched, and this will never be forgotten for many of the staff, residents and memories of our home.
