Located in Abertillery, a small former mining town and a community of the Ebbw Fach valley in the historic county of Monmouthshire, South East Wales in Blaenau Gwent. The property occupies a sloping site, with accommodation in level 2 and level 3 due to site topography.
Pen -Y-Bont has good road communication routes via the A467. 16 miles to the south, the A467 links directly with the M4 motorway, at junction 28. It is located 18 miles north west of Newport and 8 miles south of Ebbw Vale.
Pen-y-Bont is located approximately half a mile north of the town centre, opposite the Baptist Church, on the corner of Victoria Street and Upper Royal Lane, bounded on the remaining sides by a single vehicle lane which runs to the rear of Granville Street and links Victoria.
